Sunderban is situated in the south of West Bengal where Ganga meets Bay of Bengal. It is called the Land of Royal Bengal Tigers. Forest department of West Bengal has helped West Bengal government to develop different wide resort area for making beautiful cottages in the 9 acre land. Cottages have 24 hrs water supply and other amenities. Beside this you can also enjoy in four twin bedded Swis tents, a couple of 10 or a 36 seater motorized fiber glass boat to enjoy the different jungles, islands and animals and of course the big cats i.e. is Royal Bengal Tigers. The tourists are given top- end jungle facilities.
With the boat you can also enjoy mangrove interpretation centre and hatcheries. You can also get a glimpse of almost extinct Olive Ridley Turtles and River Terrapin (Batagur Baska).
